Dimension 1

Determining requirements

The planning team determines the client’s expectations about the project and the planning process. The basics are worked out and documented in digital form.

This data forms the basis for optimal project planning. It can be retrieved for all project phases as well as for model creation, model control and evaluations of all kinds.



Dimensions 2

Creating a model

Based on the project requirements, our experts create a digital twin. With this model, all relevant information is stored digitally and can be made visible depending on the task.

Plans, sections, material lists and other information formats are generated from the model. Our experts in general planning, building services, construction, infrastructure and many specialty areas all have extensive knowledge of construction processes and are additionally trained in the application and exchange of models.


Dimension 3

Generating a visualization

The 3-D representations of models - so-called visualizations - allow all project participants to view building, system or infrastructure details long before the groundbreaking occurs.

Our specialists can record all changes and update the visualization during the entire project period - from the preliminary concept through to demolition. This facilitates interdisciplinary coordination by automatically detecting and flagging collisions. In addition, 3-D BIM models can be used for spatial or static analyses, and simulations can be performed on the model.


Dimension 4

Creating and optimizing the schedule

Model-based scheduling enables the visual representation of construction processes, facilitates interaction between all project participants and forms the basis for schedule optimization.

The use of 4-D BIM technology can greatly simplify the construction process by detecting and reporting scheduling conflicts. Decisions and changes made during the construction process are stored in databases and can be used for later purposes. Transparency is significantly increased by the BIM method.


Dimension 5

Creating a budget

Especially when it comes to complex projects, precise and transparent cost planning is a crucial factor for success. The budget is integrated into the BIM model, ensuring that budget deviations are revealed immediately.

The cost impacts of changed project specifications, deviations and adjustments to the planned construction process are identified early on. This makes cost planning more efficient and more accurate.


Dimension 6

Performing simulations

The comparison of spatial models for calculations and simulations enables an efficient interaction for the optimization of various project issues.

Energy consumption analyses or static calculations, for example, can be conducted more comprehensively and with much higher accuracy. This saves our clients maintenance costs and indirectly benefits the environment.


Dimension 7

Optimizing operation

Throughout the building’s life cycle, the digital twin serves as a source of information, an information store, a means of optimization and as the basis for changes of any kind.

Data sheets, technical manuals, maintenance instructions, warranty cards, etc. of all components used in the building are part of the model. Facility management defines the extent of information suitable for the operation of a building or infrastructure system.
